Gay Binches Who Cook.

A short cookbook/zine created by and for queer and trans folks, “Gay Binches Who Cook” is a collection of recipes, food tips, and personal stories that investigate the overarching theme of Home in relation to queer lives — both the construction of a home tied to one’s past and the home one seeks to build. In the process, the stories displayed evoke rich themes of intimacy, memory, adaptation, and cooking as an act of love. This zine was made in collaboration with 8 other cooks and writers across spectrums of race, gender, and sexuality.
